Support Group Meeting for Pumpers and Intensive Insulin Users

Don’t miss out on the upcoming meeting on Wedneday,March 25th  Pumper’s Support Group meeting, 7:30 pm, Mercy Franciscan Western Hills Health/Fitness Center.  It will explore The Importance of Laughter and Diabetes.  This is one of those meetings you won’t want to miss. 

The Pumper’s Support Group is run by Dr. Michael Heile.  It ranges in participant from 30 to 80 diabetics and their families.  According to Dr. Heile, a main focus of the group is to help educate families.  The group is tailored to pump users (or those considering a pump), and intensive insulin users.  Many of the meetings look at how to continue to monitor and adjust regimens for better care.
