My day is definitely missing something…

Yesterday I was thinking of ways I could get my blood sugar where I want it.

7 is good, and if we weren’t planning on starting a family, I would be thrilled with it…but my blood sugar needs to be better. For the last week, my blood sugars have barely been under 200 mg/dL. I have a checkup with my endo in July, and am freaking out about these numbers.

I tried to think of things I could do to improve them (and I am bolusing 15 mins ahead of eating thanks to a reader!) but I need to make sure this next A1C is where it should be.

Then it hit me…I haven’t really been exercising. I do it a couple of days for a couple of weeks, but then I just kind of fall off the wagon. I need to be consistent with workouts and I need to drag my lazy bum out off bed earlier and get to the gym. I really have no excuse…the apartment complex has a gym just a few buildings over from me.

I know that exercise helps blood sugars…why is it so hard to stick with them? At any rate, today I’m starting a new routine and I know it will help my numbers. If anyone has A1C lowering suggestions, feel free to send them my way!
