I realize many of the book’s lessons — be forgiving rather than guilty, aim for good not perfect, let go of judgment and do what you love — are not just keys for managing diabetes, but for increasing our love quotient in general.

It’s hard enough to love yourself sometimes but diabetes definitely adds a challenge. There’s so much we judge ourselves over – and so much the rest of the world can throw at us. It’s a good article and her book on the topic looks like a good read.
