Insurance and Sensor Woes

I’ve been getting bills from my endo….I now owe over 400 dollars. About a month ago, I sent the insurance company some forms that needed my last doctor’s name and address to prove that I didn’t just now  get diabetes (I think that’s what they were trying to say anyway…). So far, the bills keep coming because my mean OLD doctor hasn’t filled out the forms yet. So, the bills are piling up.

I also got a bill from my PC. 100 dollars from seeing them when I was sick. I called and they said the insurance company wouldn’t pay because I have another insurance. What??  I only have one insurance. So I had to make yet another call to the insurance company to clear that up. Luckily it was a quick call and they were very helpful.

I’m out of Dexcom sensors. A month ago, Edgepark called and asked if I needed more sensors sent out. I had one box left so I said I would like them sent now. I waited, and waited….and waited. Then my last sensor kicked the bucket after 8 days. I called Edgepark, and they said that I was overstocked with Dex sensors and declined them shipping out more. No, that is not right I told them, I am completely out now. They are sending them now, but until I receive them I will be Dex-less.

So, That was kind of rambly, but at least its off my chest now!
